EcoCert is an inspection and certification body established in France in 1991 by agronomists (those who study the science and technology of producing and using plants) who were aware of the need to develop environmentally friendly agriculture and the importance of recognising those committed to sustainable development in production.

Product categories open for certification include natural and organic cosmetics, natural and organic home perfumes, natural cleaning products, fair trade, ecological outdoor areas, organic textiles, eco-sustainable golf course, reforestation and solidarity, organic and ecological spa, ecological and recycled textiles, climate commitment and biodiversity commitment.

EcoCert has invested more than 10 years in a harmonisation project for cosmetic standards with European partners, BDIH (Germany), the Soil Association (UK), ICEA (Italy) and COSMEBIO (France). EcoCert has become a benchmark in organic certification worldwide.

In the EU, EcoCert is accredited by the Cofrac (French Accreditation Committee). In the USA, EcoCert is accredited by the USDA (US Department of Agriculture) for the National Organic Program (NOP) and in Japan; EcoCert is accredited by the MAFF (Agricultural Department) for the Japanese Agricultural Standard (JAS)

Happy Feet

v2 Happy Feet blog heading

We often hear the phrase ‘I’ve been on my feet all day’. This can be true for many of us, be it because of work, chasing after children all day, running errands or countless other day-to-day activities that can all take their toll on our feet.

Women in particular can be guilty of choosing fashion over function or comfort when it comes to footwear. Your feet take the weight of your whole body, so foot problems can quickly lead to discomfort and affect the way you walk. This can in turn cause knee, hip and back pain.

Research from The College of Podiatry shows that nine in 10 of us experience some sort of foot problem, with one in five admitting to suffering with foot pain often or constantly. Podiatrist Lorraine Jones says: “What this research shows is that a huge amount of people are willing to put up with sore, aching and painful feet.

She adds: “Your feet shouldn’t hurt on a daily basis. If you are experiencing discomfort it is usually because you aren’t wearing the right footwear. “[1]

There are certain things that we can do at home to make a real difference to our feet. Keeping feet clean and applying moisturiser morning and evening, may help keep feet soft and prevent a build up of hard skin. True elements® Hand & Foot Cream may help to soothe dry hands and feet, protecting and nourishing straight after application. It contains Shea butter, which is known to nourish skin and the seaweed extract chondrus, which has moisturisation properties.

As well as keeping hands and feet moisturised, wearing comfortable, well fitting shoes as often as possible can help relieve aching feet. Kenko mSteps® and Kenko mStrides® slip into your shoes and utilises Nikken’s DynaFlux® Magnetic Technology. Kenko mSteps® feature relaxing massage nodes on one side, inspired by reflexology practices, they may provide a massage effect that could help the whole body feel good from the feet upwards.

TRUE elements® Hand and Foot Cream (#2053) is currently on offer saving 50% until 31st August.

Top tips for summer skin hydration

Blog Skin Hydration -July 2017 ENG

Dry skin is often associated with the dry winter weather but it’s not unusual to notice dry skin in the summer as well. Follow our top tips – they may help to keep your skin hydrated this summer.

Step 1 – Moisturise your skin straight after a bath or shower, lightly pat your body and apply a light and non-greasy moisturiser such as TRUE elements® Moisturising Body Lotion. It is a light, hydrating, mineral rich daily moisturiser. Applying to slightly damp skin may help your skin absorb products more easily than applying them on to dry skin and may help lock in moisture.

Step 2 – Get your feet summer ready by applying TRUE elements® Hand and Foot Cream. Rich in shea butter, this cream provides additional moisture to hands, feet and nails. Apply throughout the day and last thing at night to let that moisture penetrate whilst you sleep.

Step 3 – Once a week, treat your face to an extra moisture boost. TRUE elements® Nutritional Mask will help rehydrate summer skin. This creamy moisturising mask is rich in minerals and is a perfect treat for your face.

Step 4 – Fluid Hydration- This is the most obvious but often-neglected skincare tip during summer… drink water!

For fresh, spring-like water try the PiMAG Waterfall® Gravity Water System. Add cucumber slices, watermelon or orange segments to your glass to enhance the flavour.

Step 5 – SAVE 50%
