At the conclusion of a year marked by unforeseen natural disasters in so many places for so many, we wish everyone affected god speed on their recovery.

At Nikken, we remain steadfast and resolute to the core principle of living a Life in Balance as suggested by the 5 Pillars of Health®. The hectic world that we live in can at times be both overwhelming and frustrating. And even though we can’t completely avoid the fast pace of contemporary life, there is an alternative. We believe the way to fulfill our mission is through retailing Wellness Homes.

Retail and Sponsor with Social Media

Network marketing success can come from mastering a few activities and doing them over and over.

Successful network marketing requires the repetition of two basic behaviors:

  • Retail the products. When you retail products at Nikken, you get a percentage of the sales price, so you are earning commission.
  • Sponsor new Customers and Consultants. When you enroll team members who also retail the products, you earn commissions according to our compensation plan on what they purchase and retail. The more people in your group, the more you potentially can earn.

Once you’ve shared the products and the income opportunity with your friends and family, you may want to branch out so you can continue building your business. That’s why social media is so important. Here’s how it works:

  1. Use social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) to share products and opportunity. Post your personal testimonials and those of others. Make sure you follow our policies when you do this and please contact your Nikken Customer Services Team if you have questions or are unsure about the rules. Make your posts short and sweet. Remember that a photo is worth a hundred words. Set your posts to “public” so everyone can see them, not just your friends. The whole point is to attract new people.
  2. Check daily for responses and follow up with those who reply or “like” your social media posts. Gather contact information such as email addresses and phone numbers, so you can connect privately.
  3. Enroll those who are interested in products as Registered Customers and enroll those who are also interested in the potential income opportunity as Consultants.

For those who have already made a purchase and/or enrolled with you, follow up and see how they’re doing. Remind new Nikken Customers to re-order or sign up for Autoship.

Are you earning money with Nikken?

If you are a Nikken Independent Consultant, you have the potential to earn money. Whether you’re working your Nikken business part-time or full time, you have the ability to generate income.

The formula for earning is simple. The more products you sell, the higher your sales volume and the more you earn. Unlike many other network-marketing companies, with Nikken you’re not expected to personally purchase products in order to earn money. Our business model encourages you to sell at least 500 points worth of product to customers every month, develop at least three frontline entrepreneurs who do the same and duplicate the process. As your organisation’s sales volume increases, you will naturally advance in rank and gain even more financial benefits.

When starting out it’s not necessary to think about rank advancement, if you stick to the simple formula, sell at retail. Sell a lot. It’s not often that a company lowers prices substantially and Nikken did just that a couple of years ago to help Consultants move lots of product and earn retail profits.

The Nutrition, Personal Care and Magnetic Support products have the lowest prices so new prospects will be able to try Nikken quality for a small expenditure. They’re what are known as “door openers” by our industry. Once people experience their superb benefits, they’ll naturally be interested in other products. As long as you do your job and follow up.

To make sure your monthly sales stay consistent and grow, get your customers to go on Autoship. That way they won’t run out of product, will receive a substantial price discount and you are guaranteed a certain amount of sales every month. Each customer you have on Autoship adds to your monthly volume. You can also think of Autoship as the easiest way to retain your customers. Again, you personally are not required to spend money on purchases.

As you continue to build a strong customer base, you should also be sponsoring people who want to earn an income instead of just purchasing products. You should start them off by explaining the merits of selling as many products at retail as possible and retaining their own customers by placing them on Autoship.

This may sound like facile training but the truth of the matter is that keeping it simple is what makes it work. Think of it this way: You’re giving people a deal that shouldn’t be passed up, great products that help create Active Wellness and a more balanced lifestyle.

Top 5 Direct Selling Tips

When you first start out your business in Direct Selling it can seem a daunting task, even for an experienced sales person the idea of starting a new business can be scary. The best way to combat the initial worries and fears is to be prepared. So before you go to the next event why not just run over our top selling tips?

1. Set yourself a goal

Having a clear goal will help you become focused and motivated. The goal can be a sales goal for your whole year or maybe it’s just a goal for one event, whatever it is make sure it is clear in your mind and in all your approaches to your work. When setting a goal it is important that is isn’t unattainable, however it should be challenging enough to push you to work that bit harder.

2. Don’t fear failure

Unfortunately in business failure is always a risk. Don’t let a “no” knock you back, if something doesn’t work simply say to yourself “That didn’t work and now I am wiser and stronger in my future decisions and experiences.” Think if you only ever received “yes” how would you ever grown and improve?

3. Time Management

As much as some of us would love to be able to work 24 hours a day, you can’t! Managing your time effectively will mean you can as productive as possible and still have plenty of time to relax and spend with family and friends. Create a schedule and block in time for work but equally block in time to relax and have to yourself away from work. One great advantage of working in direct selling is you can work when you are most productive maybe you are an early bird and work well at 6am or maybe you at your peak at 11pm, work when suits you best!

4. Be comfortable and confident

A customer will be able to tell if you aren’t confident in a product you are selling and they may lose confidence. The best way to have confidence is to sell products you believe in and are knowledgeable about. Take the time before you start selling to really get to know your products, or at least know where to direct any questions a customer may have to.

5. Follow up

Maybe you’ve had a conversation with someone about Nikken products and you’ve left them with a leaflet, great but what next? Follow it up! If left to their own devices in 2 hours’ time they may have completely forgotten your conversation, but if in a few days you call them and talk to them again and get them to make a promise whether to watch a video or try a product then you are starting them on their journey to Nikken and they know you are there to help and support them!

Most of all enjoy your journey, being your own boss gives you the advantage to make your business work for you. Find a way to run your business that you are comfortable and you enjoy. No one wants to wake up in the morning dreading work, it’s time to make your life and your journey the way you want, it’s all in your control!
