Are you earning money with Nikken?

Are you earning money blog heading v3 US Version

If you are a Nikken Independent Consultant, you have the potential to earn money. Whether you’re working your Nikken business part-time or full time, you have the ability to generate income.

The formula for earning is simple. The more products you sell, the higher your sales volume and the more you earn. Unlike many other network-marketing companies, with Nikken you’re not expected to personally purchase products in order to earn money. Our business model encourages you to sell at least 500 points worth of product to customers every month, develop at least three frontline entrepreneurs who do the same and duplicate the process. As your organisation’s sales volume increases, you will naturally advance in rank and gain even more financial benefits.

When starting out it’s not necessary to think about rank advancement, if you stick to the simple formula, sell at retail. Sell a lot. It’s not often that a company lowers prices substantially and Nikken did just that a couple of years ago to help Consultants move lots of product and earn retail profits.

The Nutrition, Personal Care and Magnetic Support products have the lowest prices so new prospects will be able to try Nikken quality for a small expenditure. They’re what are known as “door openers” by our industry. Once people experience their superb benefits, they’ll naturally be interested in other products. As long as you do your job and follow up.

To make sure your monthly sales stay consistent and grow, get your customers to go on Autoship. That way they won’t run out of product, will receive a substantial price discount and you are guaranteed a certain amount of sales every month. Each customer you have on Autoship adds to your monthly volume. You can also think of Autoship as the easiest way to retain your customers. Again, you personally are not required to spend money on purchases.

As you continue to build a strong customer base, you should also be sponsoring people who want to earn an income instead of just purchasing products. You should start them off by explaining the merits of selling as many products at retail as possible and retaining their own customers by placing them on Autoship.

This may sound like facile training but the truth of the matter is that keeping it simple is what makes it work. Think of it this way: You’re giving people a deal that shouldn’t be passed up, great products that help create Active Wellness and a more balanced lifestyle.

The Ciaga®V_Story

Ciaga Organic September blog headingFor thousands of years, those who inhabit the remote reaches of the world have understood the value of highly nutritional fruits – ingredients that are familiar to us, as well as the exotic produce of faraway lands. Any of these fruits are a healthy addition to your diet. But the precise selection and combination of them can yield an outstanding range of nutrients. Nikken challenged a worldwide team of scientists and flavour experts to amplify the potency of these valuable foods and combine them in a nutritional supplement. The result is Ciaga®V. An unparalleled combination of the Maqui Berry from remote Patagonia, the Acai Berry native to Central and South America, Elderberry, Blackberry, Grape Seed extract and Raspberry – Ciaga®V _is an array of healthy phytonutrients.

Only Ciaga®V _provides this carefully chosen, balanced broad spectrum of ingredients in a 100% organic formulation. No artificial flavours. No artificial colours. No preservatives. No chemicals. Certified organic — nutrition as nature intended.

Ciaga®V unique formulation

An excellent source of Vitmains A, B and C. The foundation of Ciaga®V is the Organic Maqui-Acai fruit blend. Science has discovered that the Maqui Berry and Acai Berry have the highest ORAC values of any fruit – giving Ciaga®V an ORAC rating of more than 1500 units per 30ml. The Maqui and Acai Berry fusion also has very high levels of phenols and anthocyanins which, combined with other berries and extracts, give the remarkable blend of nutrients that Ciaga®V affords.

Natural in every way

Ciaga®V is an all-natural, certified-organic, 100% juice drink with no added preservatives and a naturally sweet flavour. The organic, fresh foods in Ciaga®V are harvested at the peak of their growth cycle. No pesticides, herbicides, artificial fertilisers or genetically modified organisms are used in the growing or processing. No sugar (only those naturally occuring from the natural ingredients), artificial colours or artificial flavors are added. Flash sterilizing and aseptic bottling allow Ciaga®V to be prepared without prolonged pasteurisation, to preserve the natural nutrients. Even the Ciaga®V container is healthy – for our planet. Ciaga®V bottles are made of an environmentally-friendly polymer that contains no bisphenol A or other potentially harmful chemicals and are easily recycled. Compared to glass, they require fewer resources to store and transport, for a smaller carbon footprint and reduced impact on natural resources. Serve 30ml chilled. Refrigerate after opening and consume within 30 days. Available on Autoship.

Why go organic?

Organic September blog headingFor decades the Soil Association has worked to identify and highlight key tangible consumer benefits of organic food and farming.

Organic always means:

* Fewer pesticides
* No artificial colours & preservatives
* The highest standards of animal welfare
* No routine use of antibiotics
* GM Free Plus no manufactured herbicides or artificial fertilisers and more environmentally sustainable management of the land and natural environment – this means more wildlife!

Whatever you’re buying – from cotton buds to carrots – when you choose organic food, drink or beauty and textiles, you choose products that promote a better world.

Food as it should be

Organic food comes from trusted sources. Any food products labelled as organic must meet a strict set of standards, which define what farmers and food manufacturers can and cannot do in the production of organic food. All organic farms and food companies are inspected at least once a year and the standards for organic food are laid down in European law.

Look for the logo!

Going organic is easier than you’d think. Food, health, beauty and textile products that hold the Soil Association organic symbol have been produced to the highest possible animal welfare and environmental standards. Look for the logo!1

Good reasons to drink water

Water week blog heading

27th August – 1st September 2017 is World Water Week in Stockholm, the annual focal point for the Globe’s water issues. The theme this year is ‘Water and Waste: Reduce and reuse’. The majority of us will be guilty of wasting water on a daily basis whether it be leaving the tap running as we brush our teeth or letting the water run for a few minutes before having a drink so that it is running cold!

To coincide with this week, we are focussing on water too and have chosen to publish the following blog written by one of our Independent Consultants highlighting some of the benefits of Nikken’s PiMag® water technology.

14 Good Reasons to Drink Nikken Water

by Jon Edgell, Independent Nikken Consultant

It is now well known and accepted that the amount of water you consume everyday plays an important role in maintaining a healthy body – experts recommend drinking 8 to 10 glasses (about 2 litres) of water each day to maintain good health.

But not all water is equal so what water should we drink? Is tap water too full of contaminants? Is bottled or mineral water a better alternative? Or should I invest in a home water filtration system, and if so, which type?

Japanese wellness company Nikken’s water filter system takes its inspiration from the fresh streams of Japan, where the benefits of mineral rich, alkaline spring water have been known for centuries. This is the idea behind the Nikken Pimag® Waterfall Gravity Water System which seeks to recreate pure natural spring water in your home at an economical cost.

Read on to discover 14 good reasons why we think Nikken water should be your drinking water of choice:

  1. Nikken Pimag® water is particularly efficient at hydrating you, 75% of us are typically dehydrated.
  2. Nikken Pimag® water is energised, structured and conditioned by a unique filtering and magnetic system.
  3. The Nikken Pimag® water may help activate your thirst mechanism, which is normally suppressed or misinterpreted (often as hunger). The more Nikken Pimag® water you drink the more you want! This further helps to rehydrate you quickly. Try it!
  4. This encouragement to drink more and more water will not only rehydrate you, it will fill you up and satisfy your “hunger” thus being very useful as part of a weight management diet.
  5. The water is alkaline with a PH of approx. 8-9 (most bottled water is acidic – less than ph7, and most tap water is PH neutral, around ph7). Alkaline water may help contribute towards better body balance by counteracting the increased acidity of our modern diet.
  6. The all-in-one multi-stage filter helps remove contaminates typically present in tap water – these include heavy metals, pesticides, and chlorine.
  7. Most alternative filtration systems take out the good minerals as well as the bad leaving pure, clean, but “dead” water. The Nikken system adds back essential minerals including magnesium, potassium, calcium, manganese and sodium.
  8. The PiMag® Waterfall is environmentally responsible. It is manufactured using recyclable biodegradable materials, including a polymer that contains no bisphenols or phthalates and does not leach chemicals into water.
  9. The Nikken Pimag® Waterfall system is a countertop model – no plumbing is required and the system is quick and easy to use straight out of the box, with a small work surface footprint. It is therefore, also relatively portable and can be moved around the kitchen, house or office, or even taken on holiday.
  10. The Nikken Pimag® Waterfall is a gravity fed system with good flow rates. The system’s 5-litre tank will refill in a matter of minutes.
  11. The system has very good filter replacement rates – the filter will last for 900 litres (for a family of 4 using the system for all their drinking and cooking needs this will usually translate to about 3 months).
  12. The Nikken PiMag® water systems use BPA-free non-leaching biodegradable plastics.
  13. Nikken Pimag® water can also be obtained from any tap when you are out and about via the Nikken Pimag® Water Bottle – excellent for travel, reducing the need to buy bottled water which creates waste.
  14. And last and by all means not least the water tastes great!

Happy Feet

v2 Happy Feet blog heading

We often hear the phrase ‘I’ve been on my feet all day’. This can be true for many of us, be it because of work, chasing after children all day, running errands or countless other day-to-day activities that can all take their toll on our feet.

Women in particular can be guilty of choosing fashion over function or comfort when it comes to footwear. Your feet take the weight of your whole body, so foot problems can quickly lead to discomfort and affect the way you walk. This can in turn cause knee, hip and back pain.

Research from The College of Podiatry shows that nine in 10 of us experience some sort of foot problem, with one in five admitting to suffering with foot pain often or constantly. Podiatrist Lorraine Jones says: “What this research shows is that a huge amount of people are willing to put up with sore, aching and painful feet.

She adds: “Your feet shouldn’t hurt on a daily basis. If you are experiencing discomfort it is usually because you aren’t wearing the right footwear. “[1]

There are certain things that we can do at home to make a real difference to our feet. Keeping feet clean and applying moisturiser morning and evening, may help keep feet soft and prevent a build up of hard skin. True elements® Hand & Foot Cream may help to soothe dry hands and feet, protecting and nourishing straight after application. It contains Shea butter, which is known to nourish skin and the seaweed extract chondrus, which has moisturisation properties.

As well as keeping hands and feet moisturised, wearing comfortable, well fitting shoes as often as possible can help relieve aching feet. Kenko mSteps® and Kenko mStrides® slip into your shoes and utilises Nikken’s DynaFlux® Magnetic Technology. Kenko mSteps® feature relaxing massage nodes on one side, inspired by reflexology practices, they may provide a massage effect that could help the whole body feel good from the feet upwards.

TRUE elements® Hand and Foot Cream (#2053) is currently on offer saving 50% until 31st August.

Why is sleep so important for our wellbeing?

Sleep blog heading

At some point each of us will experience that feeling of lying in bed unable to sleep, whether it be as soon as we get into bed or if we wake in the middle of the night and are unable to drop back off. ‘A sleepless night is as long as a year’ is a Chinese proverb that we can all probably identify with and it is important that we take steps to help ourselves to get the best sleep we can, for the sake of our health and wellbeing.

Sleep allows our body to repair itself and our brains to consolidate our memories and process information. Without a good night sleep we can feel groggy, irritable and have a lack of energy. Poor sleep is also linked to physical problems such as a weakened immune system and mental health problems such as anxiety and depression.[1]

Sleep hygiene

Many people can benefit from improving the quality of their sleep. The phrase sleep hygiene is often used to describe how lifestyle and environmental factors can affect our sleep. Positive sleep hygiene may help to improve sleep quality.

According to the MHF Sleep Report[2] the environment of our bed and bedroom can either help or hinder sleep; much depends on our own preferences. The obvious factors are noise, light, temperature and ventilation. Most of us prefer to sleep in a quiet environment. Earplugs may be useful for blocking out external noise although they do tend to amplify the body’s own internal noises which may be distracting.

Too much light can inhibit sleep since it affects melatonin levels; eye masks may be helpful. Room temperature is important, neither too cold nor too hot, although the ideal room temperature will vary from person to person. Ventilation can be improved by opening the window, although this is likely to alter the temperature and make the room noisier. It is important to feel comfortable in the bedroom environment, including selecting the right mattresses and pillows. People may need to experiment with all these factors until they find the ideal balance.

Sleep hygiene practices, such as those mentioned above, may help people improve their sleep quality, along with reducing caffeine in the evening, taking regular exercise and avoiding looking at phone/television screens just before getting into bed.

Nikken offers the Naturest® Sleep System that contains a range of products the may be beneficial to your sleep hygiene.

  1. Naturest Kenkopad® – A non-allergenic latex mattress topper that molds to your body’s contours and may improve your comfort and support.
  2. KenkoDream® Quilt – The ceramic coated fibres may help maintain a constant temperature.
  3. Naturest® Pillow – Fully adjustable by removing or adding filler, the breathable cover may help to regulate your temperature, keeping you confortable.
  4. Kenko Power Sleep® Mask – Made of soft breathable fabric, blocking out light may help improve your sleep at home or when traveling or working nightshifts.

Nutrition in the modern world

Nutrition blog heading

Good nutrition is a cornerstone of good health. However, in our fast-paced society, it can sometimes be difficult to eat wholesome, well-balanced food with a variety of ingredients. Instead, convenience sometimes dominates our eating habits. Especially, when feeding a family with different schedules and meal preferences!

In an ideal world, some people would argue that the best nutritional solution for optimal health is to eat three home cooked organic meals a day. There are always new guidelines issued but most of us are familiar with the idea of trying to incorporating at least five but ideally more portions of fruit and vegetables a day into our diet. However, it is not always as easy as it sounds, many people struggle to achieve this along side all the other daily priorities and responsibilities.

Therefore, sometimes it can be beneficial to look at including supplements. Nikken offers a range of nutritional supplements based on concentrated whole foods that may help to provide the essential nutritional support our bodies’ need while still fitting into the modern world.

A good place to start is with Kasai® Multi-Vitamins and Minerals. This product contains a broad array of wholefood fruit and vegetable powders – pineapple, orange, apple, apricot, cherry, peach, strawberry, papaya, grape, grapefruit, blueberry, raspberry, blackcurrant, blackberry, broccoli, carrot, and onion.

Kasai® provides a supportive range of vitamins and minerals and it also provides the associated phytonutrients and nutritional matrices to help address your daily nutritional needs.

The Kasai® range offers targeted supplements to help support your bodies wellbeing needs, with the exception of Kasai® Omega Oils all the Kasai® range are suitable for vegetarians.
