Reaching Diamond with Persistence and Faith…

In November of 2018, Dr. John and Annette Jackson became the newest Diamond Consultants. They have been with Nikken for “15 short years” and tell the story of their Nikken journey with enthusiasm and unwavering faith.

“Since day one the goal was to reach Diamond. Why? We wanted to prove that anyone can be successful with Nikken. We were so grateful to Nikken for transforming our lives with the Active Wellness lifestyle that our focus was laser-sharp on sharing the products and opportunity. We worked with the conviction that failure was absolutely never an option.

When strong leaders started appearing on our team, we could see their actions and goals. We then knew that reaching Diamond was only a matter of time. We increased our activities and rode the momentum. We chose November as the month to advance to Diamond and made many more contacts to ensure we would meet the requirements. By the end of the month, we celebrated with three new Platinum Consultants, one Gold Consultant and five new Silver Consultants. It was truly collaborative teamwork.”

For the Jacksons, consistency and persistence throughout the years proved to be key in their leadership quest for Diamond. Their daily activities have largely remained the same and include making phone calls, following up with contacts, and constantly looking for prospects while being prepared to share Nikken anywhere.

“We changed our business-building methods about three years ago when Nikken shifted the emphasis to retailing. We love this approach because we believe it is beneficial for Nikken globally. We remain in constant communication with our team members in both North and Latin America by providing pertinent information and counseling, answering questions, conducting ABCs and always being available.”

Steadfast in their business-building approach, the Jacksons have now set their goals even higher. “We will continue with our same routine. We have never swayed in our passion and belief in Nikken products, our company and the necessity of sharing. With effort and prayer, we intend to reach the rank of Royal Diamond much faster than it took us to become Diamond Consultants!”

New Year Message for 2019 from the CEO

As I reflect on our 43rd year, there was much to be thankful for in the Nikken Family. Worldwide, last year thousands of people embraced the Nikken concept of Active Wellness. Living a Life in Balance by creating a Wellness Home defines our purpose or mission to humanity.

For the new year, Nikken will have much to offer to leverage our mission.

First, regarding personnel, I am very excited to announce new Nikken Corporate Executive and Sales Teams.

  • Luis Kasuga has accepted the position of President of Nikken Global. In this role, he will take the lead in developing and executing the Nikken sales and marketing strategy. I am confident he will have a significant impact on your business.
  • The new Managing Director for Latin America is Gustavo Gomez. Recently he celebrated his 15thanniversary with Nikken and is well known to everyone. Given his prior role as Sales Director for Latin America, this new position is a natural transition for Gustavo. His insights into network marketing have had a significant impact on aligning Company and Field Leaders’ goals.
  • Jeff Isom in his new role will be VP of Training. In this position, he will focus on providing global training for Nikken. Returning to his roots, Jeff will travel extensively to bring you Human Beings More Silver Training (HBMST), a unique approach to self-development and network marketing training.
  • Jennifer Figueroa will assume the responsibilities for Latin American sales. Jennifer possesses excellent people skills with a mind for business—a rare combination. In her prior role as General Manager for Mexico, Guatemala and El Salvador, she was instrumental in helping to create the tremendous success our Consultants have been enjoying there.
  • North America once again has a National Sales Director: Ruben Yescas. He has more than 20 years of business experience, including 10 years in network marketing. His goal has always been to help consultants grow a profitable business.
  • Marisa Gonzalez will be returning to the Sales Dept. She has been with Nikken for 18 years, and during this time she has built a stellar reputation for providing service to the field.

In other matters, in April, Nikken will commemorate 30 years in the USA.  It has been and continues to be a most rewarding experience. There is no substitute for Humans Being More.

By the beginning of the 2nd quarter, North America will have a new shopping cart. It will be user friendly, sleek and hip!  This shopping cart is just one example of our renewed commitment to our e-commerce platform. Refinements and new functionality will be added to our web presence as needs are identified.

There will be an increased emphasis on digital marketing as a medium to increase awareness of the Nikken Brand and what it represents.

Exciting new products will be launched in 2019. Europe and Latin America will experience the phenomenal benefits of the Kenko Ground, which was previewed atthe Toronto Summit this past October. The testimonials we have read have truly been incredible.

Finally, and most importantly, I want to thank you for being part of the Nikken Family, and I want to wish all of you a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year!

The Path to Success…

Nikken is about more than innovative products – it also has a great Income Opportunity1. Income can be earned in a number of ways; selling to customers, getting new business partners on board who develop their own Nikken business, and using the Nikken Incentive programmes to maximise income potential. 

We’d like to congratulate Chantal Martin, one of our Independent Nikken Consultants in France.  She has built her Nikken business over the past few months, achieving Silver rank in August and Gold in September AND won the High 5 Incentive. We asked Chantal what her favourite products are and how she built her business and achieved her rank advancements. This is her story: 

“Hello, I am Chantal Martin, 68, a retired shopkeeper from Vichy, France. I became an Independent Nikken Consultant in January 2018, after a very positive experience while testing the Nikken Sleep System.

I was very pleased with how I felt after using the Sleep System and wanted to purchase one for myself, as well as try more Nikken products, so I purchased the complete Sleep System and PiMag Water Fountain. I also use the Jade GreenZymes®, KENZEN Super Ciaga®, KVB® Natural Food Mix and the TRUE elements® Marine Organic Skincare. I use these products every day – they are now my essentials! 

I became very aware that I was actually responsible for my own health by choice – and not by chance. I attended workshops and discovered how I could share ways of living an active wellness lifestyle with others too.  

I introduced Nikken to people who wanted an additional income, with minimal investment, and who wanted to be part of a Team. Our Team currently consists of: two Consultants – who reached Executive rank in two months and won the Power Start Incentive. Their small initial investment has now been returned to them in products. And a Consultant – who has reached Silver rank in just two months and already, has his own team of 3 people. 

We are aiming to achieve the PARAGON prize by the end of December. We’ve achieved what we have so far with help and support from Marie and Jean Marie and their participation in our three business presentations.

I am now Gold rank. One of my beliefs is in helping others. Nothing we do is ever a waste of our time, we cannot help everyone, but we will be able to help someone. Nobody has ever become poor by giving. With hard work, perseverance and courage, we can get there. The only way to fail is to give up before reaching the goal. Be grateful for each difficulty you encounter – it could be the gift which will help you grow. The difference between a successful person and others is not lack of strength, nor lack of knowledge – but rather a lack of willpower.

Paragons Retail, Sponsor and Duplicate

A “Paragon” is defined as a model of excellence or perfection. The most successful Nikken Consultants live up to being paragons. To help Nikken Consultants advance and increase earnings, the Paragon Award was developed to motivate and reward Consultants who sponsor new people and retail products, the two tried and true ways to advance in ranking and earn more income. Historically, the more effort Consultants exert, the faster they earn and the higher they progress in rank.

The Paragon Award is designed to help Nikken Consultants, at the Silver and lower ranks, advance to Gold. However, a Consultant at any level can achieve the Paragon Award by meeting the qualifications. To qualify, a Consultant needs to develop three or more new frontline Silver (or above) Consultants within a period of three consecutive months. In addition, awardees need to achieve a minimum of 18,000 Personal Group Point Volume. The prize is £600 in cash.

Platinum Consultant Leo LeMay, of the province of Quebec in Canada, achieved the Paragon Award earlier this year – and has plans to go for it yet again!

For anyone taking on this challenge, Leo gives some personal advice on how to succeed. He says, “I decided not just to try for the Paragon Award but to truly commit to attaining it. I believe in focusing on the decision to succeed and backing it up by taking consistent action every single day.

Taking action means contacting new prospects, doing the ABC presentations* and coaching people by phone when possible. I committed to making five to seven new contacts each week as well as doing at least one and sometimes two or three presentations each week. These presentations were either an ABC* or a personal one-on-one meeting. By consistently doing these things, I was able to increase volume to meet the qualifications. I also did a lot of coaching by phone.

To achieve the sponsorship requirements, I asked each of my first-level Consultants, who were not yet at the rank of Silver, whether they were ready to go for Silver. Réal Houle was the one who was committed, and I continued sponsoring to find two more. Whenever I sponsor new Consultants, I ask them if they are willing to commit to working towards Silver in three months or less. I also ask if they’ll commit to going for the Entrepreneurs Club at the same time. I’m happy to say that after all our hard work, my new frontline people are now independent and know how to retail and sponsor their own new Consultants.”

BUILD YOUR TEAM and be rewarded with Nikken Reward Points…

Achieve Nikken Reward Points and cash in on the “DECIDE it. DO it. GET it.” incentive for the month of September. If you’re a Nikken Consultant, you know that earning a Nikken income requires an Active Wellness lifestyle, sponsoring new people with the Nikken opportunity and producing personal and group sales volume. In September, the “DECIDE it. DO it. GET it.” incentive rewards sponsorship that produces Personal Point Volume (PPV), as well as Personal Group Volume (rank dependent).

Active Nikken Consultants who produce a minimum of 100 PPV in September are eligible for the “DECIDE it. DO it. GET it.” incentive.

There are two categories to qualify for this incentive:

Top Recruiters

This category recognises the Top 3 Consultants who sponsor the most new Consultants with 500 PPV during the calendar month. Consultants are ranked from 1 – 3 based on the number of new Consultants recruited. A minimum of 3 new Consultants, each with at least 500 PPV, must be achieved to count for qualification of the prize. Ties are decided by the higher PPV.

Top Group Volume (PGPV)

This category recognises the Top 3 Consultants on Direct, Executive and Silver ranks who produce the highest PGPV, within their personal group, throughout the month. Consultants are ranked from 1 – 3 based on the volume produced throughout the month. A minimum of 3,000 PGPV must be produced to be considered part of the Top 3. Ties are decided by the higher PGPV.

So, how can Nikken Reward Points benefit you?

  • Think of them as cash. When you purchase products with them and re-sell those products, you earn 100% profit. (Usually you earn 20% when you retail product.)
  • Would you like to try new products? Use your Nikken Reward Points and you won’t have depleted any extra money from your monthly budget.
  • Do you wish to recognize your team members for their efforts with a gift of product? Nikken Reward Points come in handy to make that purchase.
  • Do you want to create your own group contests? Use the products purchased using the Nikken Reward Points as prizes for the contest winners.

In a nutshell, NRPs help Nikken Consultants build and replenish their business.

Commit to Your Goal…

Kaizen is a Japanese term meaning “continuous improvement through positive change.” Recipients of the Team Kaizen award exemplify the meaning of the word and have the opportunity to experience an extraordinary leadership position within Nikken.

In their pursuit of Active Wellness, 2018 Team Kaizen members had to create at least one Quality Enrollment every month of 2017 and develop four or more new frontline Silvers last year. One person who achieved this milestone was Sherri Danzig. As a Team Kaizen member, earlier this year she was treated to a trip of a lifetime to Japan. Here’s what she says about her plans to achieve Team Kaizen again in 2019:

“To qualify for Team Kaizen, you have to do one thing. You have to make a committed decision to accomplish the goal, no matter what conspires to get in your way. Beyond that, it’s helpful to have a mentor, an accountability partner, a mastermind team or even all three – to help you develop a plan, to work your plan and to revise your plan as you go along your journey. Beyond doing the work, you must nurture your belief and vision by staying plugged into company and field events. Most importantly, you must believe in the big version of yourself, what I call the Big Stick Figure (BSF), the version of yourself that believes everything you know is possible!

I am currently working with three partners who each wish to qualify for Team Kaizen. Two of them are at the rank of Silver, working towards Platinum and one is brand new. I also plan to support six new Consultants to break Silver this year. Together we’ll expand our online marketing success. I read affirmations multiple times daily and am making plans with family to meet me in Italy at the conclusion of our Team Kaizen trip to continue traveling!

I am honored to represent Nikken as a member of Team Kaizen. I’m honestly proud of myself for keeping to my commitment and working through some tough self-imposed barriers. I feel empowered to keep growing as a business leader and to stay on a personal development path that is unending. My desire is to step up and stop hiding, to be recognized and embrace being a leader. With that, I will strive to have a bigger voice to make a bigger impact!”

Here is Sherri’s three-step plan for herself and anyone else who wishes to be part of Team Kaizen:

  1. “Step up your recruiting activities. Set specific weekly goals for number of new contacts and 1-on-1 appointments.
  2. Begin tracking your progress on a large chart. Start with the finish and work backwards.
  3. Visualize your success. Write and say out loud the goal of being on Team Kaizen every day. Set a calendar event on repeat to remind yourself to smile and visualize your goal multiple times every day!”

Learn from others… a guide to success

There are many ways to earn income with Nikken. One way is by retailing Nikken products. Another way is by sponsoring fellow business-builders.

  • When you become a Nikken Consultant, you introduce new customers who purchase Nikken products at retail price. You earn retail profit based on the difference between the wholesale and retail prices.
  • When you sponsor new Consultants, you teach them how to retail and enrol their own team members in order to build their Nikken businesses. The more people you have on your team who duplicate your efforts of retailing and sponsoring; the more money you earn.

How do you make this happen?

Successful network marketers make this happen by being “coached” and then becoming coaches themselves once they’ve mastered the methods, strategies and techniques of the Company’s system of duplication. The goal is to help team members with the most perceived potential to reach the next level as quickly and efficiently as possible. At Nikken, we call those with the most perceived potential “quality enrolments” – people who sign up to be Nikken Consultants and commit to retailing a minimum of 500 points each month.

Every Nikken product sold is assigned a specific number referred to as “qualifying point volume”. Making your 500 monthly qualification points is pretty straightforward, and your coach can give you multiple options.

Here are five examples of retail orders to customers:

  • Sell 13 PiMag® Bottles
  • Sell 11 pairs of Kenko mSteps® or Kenko mStrides®
  • Sell 10 each of True Elements® Shampoo and Conditioner.

Be open to new ideas and activity as your sponsor or coach is there to help you succeed. Your coach is there to help you develop your knowledge and skills and may ask you to try out things that you haven’t experienced before such as new products.

Learning from others knowledge is a great way to help you advance your business.
